These programmes provide children an opportunity to develop and expand their vocabulary, word usage, pronunciation improve on their public speaking, and writing skills. Our social development programmes aim to reach the school and individual learners. We therefore introduce the following projects:

One can offer support by sponsoring a child through the MFDF Adopt-A-Child programme. Through these sponsorships MFDF can provide the child with basic amenities, educational supplies (including school fees and uniform). This programme helps the selected children who struggle with obtaining basic needs and helps out parents that a struggling.

Adopt –A– School:

Many schools in South Africa do not have the necessary resources and infrastructure conducive to learning and development. Through adopt-a-school; sponsors assist schools to become the functioning institutions of learning. “No other investment yields as great a return the investment in education. An educated workforce is the foundation of every community and the future of every economy” – Brad Henry.

As the number of orphans and vulnerable children increases, MFDF seeks to respond to the added pressure on schools and our communities. There are many children who need your help. Therefore, there is a need to contribute in order to improve the situation under which these children live and grow. You can offer your support by sponsoring a child in us adopt a Child program. Your contribution will help us provide some of the basic necessities that these children don’t have access to. Sponsoring a child means giving him or her hope for the future, and it reduces the stress of worrying about what will happen to them in future.

To support the enhancement of a conducive learning environment and make sure that the child has all he/she requires when going to school.

MFDF adopt a child aims to create multiple partnership with different organizations and individuals to sponsor a child. With the aim to provide assistance on long term basis in making children life’s better.

To provide care and support services to underprivileged children. To improve the quality of life for underprivileged children

  • Provide support to underprivileged children and ensure their well-being.
  • Make a difference in a child’s life.
  • Promote the rights of all learners within the education systems.
  • Invest in the future of our children
  • Prepare the children to reach their full potential so that they can lead an independent life.
  • Have an opportunity to become a mentor and “friend” to their sponsored child
  • The sponsorship program can provide children with access to basic needs; educational supplies (supplies, school uniform), health care and support.

All children should have the opportunity to encounter modern learning environments as a normal part of their educational experience. We believe that children can’t receive a quality education if they don’t have the resources they need to learn effectively. Therefore, there is an urgent need for improved school infrastructure and facilities to enhance educational opportunities for students. This can be done by adopting a school.

The Adopt-a-School program aims to improve the conditions of schools that lack the basic infrastructure and educational resources needed to produce a successful and fully functioning environment in which children can learn.

Our purpose is to create partnership with organizations and individuals to team up in providing the needed assistance and services to schools.

To improve the quality of each school; to create a conducive environment for learning and development.

  • To improve the school environment and its facilities
  • Ensure that the needs of the schools are met.
  • To assist schools to be functional institutes of learning
  • Every year each school sends us a wish list; as an organisation and we aim to make one of their wishes come true. Adopt-a-school programmes have varied from the Ablution block renovation project, school garden project, school donations and playground developments. We also want to keep the children motivated and will bring along motivational speakers to just speak to the children during the year.
